To keep things moving
What I will need from you, before and during the work
Reference images (required)
Please prepare references that show the mood you are after — screenshots of websites, a Pinterest link — or a hand-drawn layout sketch.
Your copy and text
Send me the text that goes into the design. I will give you a target length for each part, based on the wireframe.
Photos and logos
If you have your own photography or a company logo — at the highest resolution you have — this is the point to send it.
The six steps
We work through them in order, with your sign-off at each stage.

The brief Free adjustments
Working from the references you sent, we agree on the mood, the colours you want to use, and the direction for the typography.

Wireframe proposal Unlimited revisions
I propose the rough placement, along with a target length for each piece of text.
⚠️ What I need from you: the layout and the amount of text are finalised here. After sign-off, and before step 3, please send me the copy and the photographs.

Colour, type and photography One free revision
I place your copy and photographs and apply the colour scheme. From this stage on, one revision per step is included.

Design sign-off One free revision
I finish the overall look and you review it as the design in the round.

Finishing touches One free revision
I add the ornament and small flourishes — shadows, icons and so on — to bring it up to its best.

What I promise, and what I ask
A few ground rules so the work stays enjoyable for both of us
How long it takes
From the brief to delivery, allow about two weeks. It varies with the size of the plan and with how quickly your feedback comes back.
Replying to me
To keep to the schedule, please review and reply within one to two business days of each proposal.
Revisions
At the wireframe stage (step 2), revisions are unlimited and free. From step 3 onwards, once the design itself has started, one revision per step is included.
When extra charges apply
A second or further revision from step 3 onwards, or a substantial change to the layout or copy after step 2 has been signed off, is charged as an extra revision (from ¥7,500 each).

Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel partway through?
Before the wireframe is signed off (step 2), you can cancel free of charge. After that, a cancellation fee applies according to how far the work has progressed (from 50% of the fee).
How and when do I pay?
By bank transfer. As a rule, half is paid on commissioning and the remaining half at the end of the month in which the work is delivered.
What file formats do I receive?
Usually a high-resolution PDF for print, or JPG/PNG for the web. Editable source files are available as an option.
